For many people lunch can be a headache. Either a £3 supermarket meal deal or a rather basic lunch bar/van on an industrial estate. Or, make your own. The chore of preparing lunch each day becomes a pain and a bore for many people – quickly running out of ideas. By providing this onsite option, staff love the fact that they didn’t have to think about “what to do/have for lunch today”. What would you rather - a sandwich or a hot, fresh Lasagne and Salad?

All meals are served on a fully compostable biodegradable plate which, with any food waste, is recycled into agricultural fertiliser and gas used for energy to drive the fertiliser converter.
Everyone that uses the TableMates service can easily order and pay for their lunches through the TableMates web-based app. From here you can find out the menu choices and order your lunches ahead. You can order a meal for 1-5 days per week, whatever suits your working week.
The service is targeted at growing companies with staff of 150 – 500 people whose leadership and management understand employee engagement, company culture and in essence, know that the key to success is happy people working together.
The cost is shared between the company and the staff. The company decides how much it wants to subsidise each meal by and the staff pay the balance when they order online. The company is then invoiced each month for the remainder.

We set up a small self-contained area (c.3m2) in the corner of your staff canteen area. Each day, our chef arrives at about 10:30 with the food for the day. Our chef then uses a process call “regenning” (regenerating) to prepare that day’s food and serves it to your staff when they come down for lunch. We provide everything and at the end of each day we clean up and take it all away.
We arrive about 10:30 and your staff come down from midday and are served their meal for the day. They take their meal, sit down and eat – and talk! Our chef feeds everybody and then takes everything away at the end of the day and is normally gone by two o’clock.
We leave no mess and no waste and require no input from you.
